This site introduces art works of watercolor painter, Yaiko HIRUMACHI, who awared at Nitten and ex-associate member of Hakujitsu-kai, mainly paints landscape of the four seasons, characterized by works with vibrant and vivid colors.
"Reminiscence of Mountains and Waterscape"—her works were born from a quiet longing for the landscapes that shaped her earliest memories. Drawn to the subtle beauty of marshes, ponds, and mountain streams, she has painted what many might overlook: the reflection of trees on still water, the faded grasses along a riverbank, the distant silhouette of hills beneath a changing sky. These places are not grand or dramatic, but they hold a quiet presence, a sense of time suspended. The artist has tried to capture the air of these moments, the hush between seasons, the feeling of something remembered but not quite grasped.
